Introducción}
Trafficking in persons is a highly organised phenomenon that affects many countries and occurs at all levels of society. It has social, geographical, administrative, political and financial implications that directly influence the human rights of the victims. This phenomenon operates like a huge and highly efficient company with extremely high income and very little risk.

To fight this type of organised crime in an effective way, we need to challenge with an equally efficient and positive network that responds to this phenomenon where it occurs, proposing means and solutions in all spheres (political, legislative, administrative, social, etc) in order to make an impact on all aspects of the phenomenon.

Proyecto ESPERANZA actively works and coordinates therefore with other public and private organisations and institutions, on a local, national and international basis. This involves exchanging experiences and information, which in turn allows for a better and deeper understanding of the problem of trafficking in women and which in turn results in an effective response to this serious violation of human rights.
